Legal Services for the Creation, Preservation and Transfer of Wealth®

My Background

25 years experience.

After graduating from St. Louis University School of Law in 1983, I have engaged in the practice of law for nearly twenty-five years in St. Charles County.

My practice is focused on helping people achieve their financial goals in life through providing Legal Services for the Creation, Preservation and Transfer of Wealth ®.

I focus my practice on those services that will help people achieve their financial goals in life, from the formation of wealth at a younger age through planning for the transitions that occur throughout life.  These services include such things as the formation and operation of a business, increasing and preserving the value of assets at any stage of life, or planning for the transfer of accumulated wealth to a younger generation.

I am committed to and involved in the community.

I have served on the St. Charles City Council and as the Circuit Clerk of St. Charles County. In addition, I have been involved in numerous boards and commissions throughout my career. Most recently, I have helped create the first curriculum for Adult Christian Education for my church.

Professional and Community Associations.

I am a member of the Missouri Bar, the St. Charles County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis, the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, and the St. Peters Chamber of Commerce.

My Clients.

The clients I represent generally fall into several categories:

Professionals and Entrepreneurs.

Persons who are interested in starting and running a new business.

Wealthy Individuals.

People who have accumulated substantial assets and want to protect those assets and pass them to a younger generation with as little delay and expense as possible, engage in a program of charitable giving, or combine these objectives in planning their estate.

Couples with or without Minor Children.

Couples who are building assets and want to protect those assets for their minor children or extended families.

Single Parents and Blended Families.

Those unmarried individuals who need to protect minor children or persons who are marrying or remarrying who have children from prior partners.

Owners of Real Estate.

Individuals or families who own residential, commercial or undeveloped real estate.

Practice Focus

The focus of my practice is to deliver the best legal services for the creation, preservation, and transfer of wealth to residents of the St. Louis metropolitan region promptly and at a reasonable expense.
